Service Description
All payment processing has a $6.45 fee added. Parties may decide how the fee is split.
This service is designed to help landlords and tenants resolve residential eviction-related disputes through mediation. It is available for residential evictions where the monthly rent is under $2,000.
This service provides affordable eviction mediation for landlords and tenants involved in residential eviction disputes. AEP provides a neutral setting where landlords and tenants can communicate about the issues involved, explore possible solutions, and work toward a mutually acceptable agreement.
Eviction mediation may help parties address issues such as move-out terms, unpaid rent or other amounts claimed, payment arrangements, or whether the tenant may remain in the property.
If the parties reach an agreement during the mediation session, the mediator can assist with documenting the terms agreed upon. The effect of any agreement on an existing court case or eviction proceeding depends on the circumstances of the case and any action required by the court.

Cancellation Policy
Payment Processing: All payments and returns will have a processing fee added. This is the fee charged by the payment processor, and may change annually, and differ based on the payment platform of your choice. This portion of your payment is non-refundable.
For Mediation Services: There is a mandatory 48 hour notice for cancellations (this refers to business hours, so if the mediation is scheduled for a Monday, it must be canceled by Thursday). All cancellations submitted prior to 48 hours of scheduled time receive a full refund, minus a $15 processing fee. If the mediation is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled mediation, monies are non-refundable.
